2012 was a really bad year for me.
I began to get lazy at my old job, coming in less and less and doing crappy work whenever I was in.
My boss was nice enough to give me many warnings and chances, but I blew each and every one of them. I didn’t realize how good I had it. Now that I was out on my own, I made the fatal error of assuming everything would work out. So when I was fired, it came as a shock to me. Bills began to pile up and I wasn’t sure what to do, I had to sacrifice a lot of my luxuries for necessities. I took a small, job as a dog groomer a few months later. It didn’t pay well, but something was better than nothing. I didn’t realize the nightmare I had ahead of me. Loud barking dogs, some crazy, others aggressive. While I liked dogs, most of these weren’t the sweet ones I was used to. One of the worst aspects of this job apart from the bad manners of the dogs, is that they had a nonexistent a/c, and it looked like they had no plans on adding any form of HVAC. By the time I was done working, I was always drenched in sweat. To make it worse, my own air conditioning unit failed and I couldn’t afford to fix it. Ugh, I couldn’t wait to get out of this job, and this time I’m going to make things right. Once I found another job, I took it in a heartbeat, and this one had a reliable cooling system as well.
