Camping in tents can be intense.
- Get it? But seriously, More than any other type of camping, I love being in a tent compared to using an RV or a camper.
Those guys are missing out on the entire point of camping! There’s a certain triumph that comes from the struggle, lack of space, distance from bathrooms and of course, the challenge of cooking edible food. There’s nothing about missing those things that makes camping still camping, you know what I mean? Anyway, campers and RVs have one thing over tents that I wish we had – heating systems, and air conditioning units. Those would be incredible to have! They allow people to stay comfortable no matter what time of the year it is, and someone with an RV can decide to go camping no matter what temperature it is outside! That’s all due to the fact that they know the oil furnace or a/c in their vehicle will help fight that. If tents had a/cs and heaters, this wouldn’t be such an issue! They wouldn’t have to be entirely immense to stay comfortable either. The problem with tents is that they are terrible in drastic temperatures! Summer weather causes tents to become miniature ovens, just from how hot they get! Without a heating tool in the winter, the tent becomes an icebox on a cold winter’s night. That’s the worst thing ever! If you have an air conditioning system as well as a furnace in your tent, there’s no elemental fury that could still keep you away from camping. These Heating, Ventilation plus A/C units wouldn’t have to be that large for them to work with a tent, anyway! I can imagine that if we made Heating, Ventilation plus A/C units for tents, I would have to make the tents more insulated to keep the temperature constant. Off to the drawing board I go!
