My beach house entirely is just plopped on a block of land with no trees.
I don’t have any natural shade at all.
On one hand it is super awesome. My family’s swimming pool is consistently in the sunshine no matter what. I can very get a tan. I also love that I don’t need to rake, trim or do much lawn care. The drawback is that with no shade, I get a lot of sun coming into my home. At first I had a giant central air conditioning system and shades on each window. My Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C serviceman told myself and others that if I invested in a sun control window film, I could do a normal sized air conditioning system. I looked into window films and found they were quite cheap. I decided to just provide it a try. The sun control window film repair was so nice. The people were friendly, fast and knowledgeable. I can’t even see the film that they added to the window. I do notice that my beach house feels less hot. I have taken down all my blinds and I now can look outside for once. The beach house feels a little cooler and I am planning to upgrade my giant AC program with a ductless air conditioning system. The window film supplier advocated that I invest in window film maintenance quite often. Since my beach house gets so much sunshine, the window film won’t last forever. It is pressing to keep touching up on it so that I don’t revert back to what I was once dealing with.
