I cannot believe how quickly time flies by.
It seems like yesterday that I was a freshman in highschool not knowing what I would do after I graduated.
I am now thirty years old, and I have been a nurse for seven years now. I love my job immensely. I had to do something very sad recently. I had to transfer to a different hospital about two hours south of the one that I was previously working at. It was quite sad leaving all of my friends. On a positive note, I am super happy with my new apartment. I lived in a three bedroom apartment before this one, and it was just too big for just me. It took a lot of resources to keep the place cool as well. It is pretty warm year round in my area, so having a small area to cool is much more convenient than having to cool a large apartment. My new apartment has just two bedrooms, and the living room, dining room, and kitchen are one large space. I only have to use one air conditioner to cool the entire place. It is so much nicer than my previous apartment. I had to use three air conditioners 24/7 to keep my last apartment as cool as my new apartment is with just one air conditioner. I have saved quite a bit of money on my electric bill because I only have to use one air conditioner as well. Even though it has been hard living in a new area and working in a new hospital, I am so glad that my new apartment makes up for it.
