Didn’t realize my aunt doesn’t have any ductwork

She didn’t say it in a rude way but I understood what she meant.

My aunt is a serious germ-a-phobe. Everything has to be especially clean all of the time! She happens to be a single one of those people who carries around hand sanitizer and uses it several times every single hour… Her whole residence is completely white. The walls are white, the counters are white, the cabinets are white, the bedding is white, and even the carpeting is white. I assume this is so she can actually notice any dirt that may be in the residence. I also assume it is because she wishes to be able to bleach everything in the residence. Her residence honestly stinks like a hospital because she is regularly cleaning it, and you can’t help but easily notice. However, something I only recently noticed is the fact that my aunt doesn’t have any Heating, Ventilation, and A/C vents. I had recently noticed how dirty our Heating, Ventilation, and A/C vents were and I knew it was time to get a hold of the HVAC company and have our air duct cleaned. Then I started wondering about my aunt’s air duct and if she gets hers cleaned on a regular basis. The next time I went to her residence I noticed there were no vents in the least. When I asked how she keeps her residence so comfortable without Heating, Ventilation, and A/C vents she explained that she has underfloor heating and cooling. Of course she brought up the fact that it is basically impossible to keep forced air heating and cooling HVAC ducts perfectly clean. She didn’t say it in a rude way but I understood what she meant. She also said that forced air machines easily spread germs all over the residence. I could argue about air filters with high MERV ratings and getting your air duct cleaned however I certainly knew that wouldn’t be enough for my aunt. Besides, she already had her heating and cooling machine all figured out.
