I found a huge amount of bees in the wall upstairs in our household a couple of weeks back.
It was entirely disconcerting to know that there was a massive beehive right next to me in the wall of the upstairs bathroom, and this was something that I had never even heard of happening before, so it was a major surprise to me when I heard all of this buzzing and then I noticed something that I never had before.
There was a bit of moisture coming down the wall that I had never seen, however when I was trying to figure out where it was coming from, I noticed a good amount of bees outside the bathroom window. They didn’t look like wasps or yellow jackets, so at least that was comforting. I was quite certain that they were honey bees, so at least I didn’t panic… But as I stood there having a look at them to see where they were headed, I started to see that there were more and more bees flying all around outside of our second story window! That could only mean one thing. I slowly put my ear to the wall next to where I saw the bees flying in and out and that’s when I heard the humming noises. I had chalked that sound up to the Heating, Ventilation & A/C device running in the past, however now I came to realize it for what it absolutely was. It was an enormous beehive right there inside our bathroom wall. I wasn’t sure what to do next, so I looked up residential bee removal online. I reached out to a bee eradication and rescue service to come and rehouse the bees because I didn’t want to eliminate them if they were honeybees.
