I found a ton of bees in the wall upstairs in my house a couple of weeks ago.
It was very disconcerting to know that there was a giant beehive right next to me in the wall of the upstairs bathroom.
This was something that I had never even heard of happening before, so it was a big surprise to me when I heard all of this buzzing and then I noticed something that I never had before. There was some moisture coming down the wall that I had never seen. When I was trying to figure out where it was coming from, I noticed several bees outside the bathroom window. They didn’t look like wasps or yellow jackets, so at least that was comforting. I was pretty sure that they were honey bees, and so at least I didn’t panic. But as I stood there watching them to see where they were going, I started to realize that there were more and more bees flying all around outside of my second story window! That could only mean one thing. I slowly put my ear to the wall next to where I saw the bees flying in and out and that’s when I heard the humming sound. I had chalked that sound up to the HVAC system running in the past, but now I realized it for what it actually was. It was an enormous beehive right there inside my bathroom wall. I wasn’t really sure what to do next, so I looked up residential bee removal online. I called a bee eradication and rescue service to come and rehome the bees because I didn’t want to kill them if they were honeybees.
