My sister wanted to start her training to become an HVAC technician.
She had realized that she had possibly picked the worst HvAC company to work for.
She was too excited to realize that he was offering her too good of a deal for it to be real. There are many HVAC companies that will offer training while working for them. The owner of the HVAC company personally trained her, and he never really planned on teaching her anything. She did a lot of training and testing and she was even given an HVAC certification. The problem is that the paper was just that. It was a piece of paper that meant nothing. She was getting paid almost half of what everyone else was getting paid. She couldn’t even quit her job, because if he found out they were looking for employment elsewhere, he fired them on the spot. He would then call the new employer and tell them what a horrible HVAC tech they were and that they weren’t even certified. The worst part of it all was that he made every employee look like they were self-employed so he didn’t need to worry about taxes or other payments. I feel really bad for my sister, but there really isn’t anything I can do to help her. She should have looked around a bit more before she decided to work for him.
